Why transfer your tapes to DVD? For starters, tape players are fast becoming the dinosaurs of the electronics world. VHS tapes slowly get brittle and degenerate over time (even if stored properly). A video tape’s shelf-life is only about 5 years whereas a DVD will last 25 years or more.
Keep in mind, finalized DVD videos can not be edited or transferred to a computer without “ripping” software. If you want to work with your videos after we transfer them, you might consider purchasing a mini hard drive so that we can transfer your videos as .MPG or .AVI or .MOV files.
Video transferring is done based on time length of video cassette.
